Food was NOT good. Movie theater is clean. Hostesses were friendly and nice. Movie experience is very good. I'm going to give it another try. I'll post back in regards to my 2nd visit.

First visit, but it will not be our last! The seating is fantastic, no chance of a head being in your way. We also ate dinner here. The service was great, and so was the food. I had a burger, and my companion had the nachos. Everything was very fresh, and seasoned well. Give it a try! You'll love it!

I actually got food again. Listen, as long as you do not have a 'food quality' based on 'food cost' expectation then you should be ok. Seriously...the food is not the top priority for this establishment. I've been to other Movie Taverns in other cities and the food was exceptional - this just isn't that type of Movie Tavern. It is clean. Bathrooms are clean. Workers are nice. The movie and sound experience is great. For the most part everyone is reasonably professional - however, the food is just bad. Also, the alcoholic beverages are very expensive compared to the quality that you receive - stick with beer. On a high note - their desserts are good.

The Movie Tavern at Juban does a much better job with the speed and accuracy of our orders compared to the Movie Tavern at Citiplace.

2nd visit:

Nice, well kept theater with comfortable reclining seats. The ability to order your desired meal/drink/theater fare is a nice touch. Admittedly I did not try any of the menu options other than popcorn on my initial visit, so this score only applies to the facility in general.

By far our favorite theater. The recliners are the softest seats I've sat through a movie in (I have a bad back, so that's a biggie for me). Our food was fresh and delicious. We do recommend getting to your movie in time to order before the previews begin.

It's okay. They don't have a large movie selection and the food is just okay. Service is hit and miss. I'd like to have the option to just get a coke and popcorn without having to leave a tip. I feel like I'm not able to do that here. I think if they had a regular concession stand I would go here more often. I often drive to a different theatre if I'm not hungry or want really good food from an actual restaurant and then a movie. It's a great idea, but it's not my go to theatre.
