What a selection of meat, and produce.

But hey! Get some spare ribs!

I grew up in Thibodaux and have been living in BR area since 1984. When Rouses came to Livingston of course I was excited! I love this store and the people in it. Reminds me of home. Thank you Rouses for building in Livingston Parish. God bless and Happy New Year! :-)

No other store in the area is as clean.

Well stocked upscale market. Lots of local products, prime beef, and reasonably priced organics. Also excellent normal/regular grocery stock. Fantastic beer, wine and liquor selection. Deli with prepared foods as well as cold cuts, large variety of cheeses and fresh seafood. Congenial and accommodating staff and management.

You cannot go wrong with a Rouses Supermarket. You'll never meet friendlier workers. You'll never find better meats and Louisiana favorites. And when you put all that together, you might just find out your fellow shoppers are a lot friendlier and respectful as well. ♥

Every employee there is knowledgeable and courteous and is willing to help no matter how big or how small your needs are. The store is missing absolutely nothing. Do yourself a favor and start shopping there. If you haven't tried them please do stopped in you will be amazed and glad that you did

An interesting grocery store. I was disappointed that their selection of pork ribs only included baby back ribs. I was looking for pork spare ribs, especially St Louis style spare ribs. None to be had, only baby back ribs. I do like their overall varied selection of different types of ingredients for different types of cusines. I think their prices are high but if they have what I want when I want it I would shop there often. I was disappointed that they were completely out of certain sale items. Not smart. I did try one of their house brand frozen pizza (don't judge, we were traveling and it was late). I was pleasantly surprised with the quality and flavor! Not over sauced like many are, well seasoned with the Italian herbs making a welcome addition to what usually isn't a very good product (frozen pizzas usually suck). They were a little skimpy on the Italian sausage but had adequate pepperoni. I added sliced mushrooms, which enhanced the meat flavor a little. The crust was a little too thick for my taste but it did crisp up pretty good. Not bad. Would I buy it again? If I didn't have time to make my own pizza, yes I would!
